Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Production Engineer with hands-on experience in PCB assembly, process optimization, and team handling. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and will be responsible for ensuring efficient production operations, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day PCB assembly operations (SMT, THT, manual assembly)
• Review and optimize production line processes for improved efficiency and reduced rework
• Handle equipment setup, maintenance, and calibration (pick-and-place, reflow oven, wave soldering, etc.)
• Interpret and implement BOMs, schematics, and work instructions
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for in-process and final inspection
• Manage inventory of electronic components and raw materials
• Ensure adherence to ESD standards, IPC-A-610 guidelines, and ISO quality systems
• Assist in new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up
• Train and guide line operators and technicians
• Maintain daily production reports, yield analysis, and downtime logs

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2.5 years experience in electronics manufacturing or related field
• Proficiency in SMT and THT processes
• Good understanding of electronic components and circuit behavior
• Experience with test jigs, soldering stations, and inspection tools
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and basic Six Sigma concepts
• Ability to read electronic schematics and assembly drawings
• Familiarity with ERP systems for production tracking (e.g., SAP, Odoo)
• Strong problem-solving and team coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
