Production Planning Manager

Job Description:Job Title: Manager – Production Planning – Manufacturing - Bangalore

A Production Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure that products are produced on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Job Responsibility

Production Scheduling

• Develop and maintain master production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer orders.
• Align production plans with material availability and resource capacity. Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to minimize delays or excess stock. Inventory Management
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams.

Capacity Planning

• Analyze plant and labor capacity to meet production goals.
• Plan for peak demands or downtime.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Communicate with sales, operations, and quality assurance teams.
• Resolve conflicts in schedules or delays.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput.

Process Creation and Optimization

• Gap-analysis and bridging the gaps.

Reporting & KPI Monitoring

• Run production planning meetings and Monthly meetings.
• Track metrics such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, inventory turnover, and downtime.
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly production reports.Key Skills:Key Skills:

Target Industry: Manufacturing of capital goods, most preference order to make- manufacturing

Mandatory :

• ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)

Gender: Male

Age: less than 40 years

Experience: 10 – 15 years

Job Location: Peenya, Bangalore

Working Days: 5 days (2nd and 3rd Saturdays are off)

Qualification: BE (Mech)/ Graduation/ Diploma

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹125,000.00 per month
