Production Planning Manager
Role & ResponsibilitiesPreferred Candidate Profile

Production Planner

Job Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Equipment, Quality, Day Store, and Warehouse) to align weekly production plans.
Ensure raw materials, WIP, and finished goods are available per production needs.
Awareness about Bill of Material, release PR, and monitoring PR to GRN process in SAP/ERP.
Maintain material tracking, procurement alignment, and inventory control to ensure timely availability while minimizing excess.
Review the production plan and ensure all material availability.
Awareness of production norms like productivity, machine efficiency, and cycle time.
Awareness about planning activity in SAP such as PR, production order creation, and material code creation.
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Facilitate daily or weekly planning meetings or forums to continuously improve planning processes and achieve related supply chain goals.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure the availability of resources and materials.
