Production Manager

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering.
• MBA in Operations or Production Management (preferred).
• Experience:
• 12–20 years of experience in electronics manufacturing (preferably EMS / PCB Assembly / Consumer Electronics / Automotive Electronics).
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing production or plant operations.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of SMT, THT, Testing, and Assembly processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, lean manufacturing tools, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong understanding of process automation, equipment validation, and production metrics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Plan, organize, and control all production activities to achieve output, quality, and cost targets.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials, machinery).
• Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, and maintenance departments for seamless production flow.

2. Quality & Process Control

• Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, IPC, RoHS, etc.) and compliance with industry and customer requirements.
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to monitor product quality and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production-related issues.

3. People Management

• Lead, mentor, and motivate production teams, including supervisors, engineers, and operators.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure training and skill development of staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

4. Equipment & Maintenance

• Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure minimal downtime of machines (SMT lines, assembly, testing, etc.).
• Approve capital investments and technological upgrades for production enhancement.

5. Cost & Efficiency Management

• Monitor production costs, yields, and scrap to achieve budgeted cost levels.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Ensure effective inventory management and material utilization.

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a safe workplace culture and ensure adherence to EHS protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
