Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all production activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. This role involves team management, cross-department coordination, process improvement, and maintaining smooth workflow across multiple model-making projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
  • Allocate resources, manpower, and timelines for each project.
  • Track and update progress for all ongoing projects.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise production staff, team leaders, and workers.
  • Assign tasks and monitor productivity.
  • Conduct regular briefings and ensure discipline, safety, and professionalism.

3. Project Execution & Monitoring

  • Ensure all models are produced as per drawings, dimensions, and client requirements.
  • Solve on-floor issues and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.

4. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Coordinate with Design/Architect team for drawings and details.
  • Work with Procurement to ensure materials are available in advance.
  • Coordinate with Operations Head and GM for planning and approvals.

5. Quality Control

  • Ensure quality standards are followed at all stages.
  • Conduct inspections at key checkpoints.
  • Approve final models before QC and dispatch.

6. Material & Inventory Monitoring

  • Track material usage and minimize wastage.
  • Report shortages and raise purchase requirements proactively.
  • Ensure safe storage and maintenance of tools and materials.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Submit daily and weekly reporting to the Operations Head/GM.
  • Maintain project sheets, timelines, and delay reports.
  • Document production issues, improvements, and manpower updates.

8. Process & SOP Compliance

  • Implement and monitor production SOPs.
  • Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Suggest process improvements for higher efficiency.

9. Training & Development

  • Train new employees and upskill existing team members.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in production management (manufacturing/model making preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of production processes, materials, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in model making, fabrication, or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing, laser cutting, materials, and design drawings.
  • Understanding of quality control and workshop management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
