Job Title: Production Manager - Jewelry Location: Jaipur , Rajasthan Department: Manufacturing Experience : 5–10 years of relevant experience in jewelry manufacturing Reporting To: Operations Head / Managing Director Job Summary: The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire production process to ensure high-quality jewelry output that meets design, cost, and delivery standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of jewelry manufacturing (gold, silver, diamond, and gemstone) , and the ability to manage timelines, resources, and workforce effectively. Key Responsibilities:  Production Planning & Coordination: o Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. o Coordinate across CAD, CAM, casting, setting, polishing, and QC departments to ensure smooth workflow. o Balance workloads between export and domestic orders based on priorities.  Team & Process Management: o Supervise and guide floor supervisors, artisans, setters, polishers, and QC teams. o Train and upskill workers to meet product quality and setting standards (e.g., prong, bezel, pave). o Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline of production staff.  Quality & Efficiency: o Implement quality control procedures to ensure all products meet internal and client standards. o Identify process bottlenecks and recommend/implement improvements. o Monitor wastage and suggest ways to reduce cost without compromising quality.  Reporting & Documentation: o Maintain daily production reports, rework logs, and material movement records. o Coordinate with inventory, accounts, and procurement teams for timely availability of materials.  Technology & Compliance: o Leverage technology for job tracking (e.g., ERP/MIS systems). o Ensure adherence to compliance, safety, and ethical labor standards. Qualifications & Skills:  Graduate in Engineering, Jewelry Design/Manufacturing, or related field.  5–10 years of relevant experience in jewelry manufacturing (gold/silver/diamond/gemstone).  Strong leadership and communication skills.  In-depth knowledge of jewelry production processes, tools, and techniques.  Proficient in production planning software/ERP systems.  Problem-solving and analytical skills.
