Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our furniture manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the production floor, coordinating with design and procurement teams, ensuring quality standards, and meeting delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet customer demands and project timelines.

Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and logistics teams for seamless execution of orders.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product standards.

Manage workforce, allocate tasks, and monitor performance on the production floor.

Optimize resource utilization and minimize wastage.

Track production metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Production/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience in furniture manufacturing/production management.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards in the furniture industry.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office and production management software (ERP knowledge is a plus).

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of sustainable furniture manufacturing practices.

Experience with custom or large-scale furniture projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
