About Us

Nutria is a leading cashew processing and dry fruit brand focused on delivering high-quality, value-added products to domestic and international markets. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee the entire cashew processing operation — from raw nut shelling to grading, roasting, and packaging — ensuring consistent product quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Control

• Plan, organize, and manage all production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Allocate manpower and resources efficiently across processing units (shelling, peeling, grading, roasting, packing).
• Monitor production KPIs such as yield, wastage, downtime, and throughput.
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure product quality as per company and export standards (AFI / BIS / FSSAI norms).
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team for regular inspection and testing.
• Implement hygiene, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

3. Machinery & Maintenance Coordination

• Oversee operation and maintenance of processing machines (shelling, peeling, drying, roasting, packing).
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules with the engineering team to minimize breakdowns.
• Maintain production records and equipment performance logs.

4. Team Management

• Supervise and guide production supervisors, operators, and labor teams.
• Conduct regular training on safety, machine handling, and process quality.
• Foster teamwork, discipline, and accountability across all departments.

5. Procurement & Inventory Coordination

• Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores departments for timely availability of raw materials and packaging.
• Monitor raw cashew nut stock, kernel output, and wastage levels.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate daily production reports, yield statements, and performance analyses.
• Report production metrics and challenges to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Management.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Cashew Processing / Food Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of cashew processing stages, grading systems, and yield optimization.
• Hands-on experience with production machinery and maintenance coordination.
• Good leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with FSSAI, HACCP, and export quality standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production software tools.
