Production Manager

Objective Summary:

Ensure productions are completed on time to deliver for installation. Coordinate with other departments like inventory & project dept for smooth flow-of operations. The ultimate goal is to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity and quality in the production process.

Principle duties

Operations Management

• Develop production plans and budgets for production.
• Verifying the cutting list prepared by design executive.
• Give approval for material request (MR).
• Organize production schedules for on-time delivery & installation to customers.
• Implement solutions to minimize downtime and improve production output.
• Redesigning the existing production process by identifying the gaps.
• Develop and implement production policies and procedures that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Determine availability of sufficient resources like materials, machinery and men to meet the production targets.
• Control production costs by ensuring production schedules are met on time by ensuring they are within budget.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure production targets are aligned with customer demands.
• Develop & Implement solutions to resolve production problems.

Health & Safety Management

• Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Team Management

• Motivate production staff to achieve production targets and to adhere strictly to quality standards.
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed by all employees.
• Conduct periodic Performance evaluation of team members & provide feedback.

17. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to production

18. Give training, support & guidance to the existing and newly joined staffs.

Production Record Management.

• Prepare reports on production activities and performance to COO.
• Share the Daily Production Report with the COO.

Education

B Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering

Age

35+

Experience

10+ years of experience in same industry, min. 15 years overall experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
