Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Head of Production to take full ownership of the manufacturing and operational output across our client’s specialized textile and embroidery units. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring superior quality, maximizing efficiency, and delivering all client orders on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is a deep domain expert who can drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Leadership & Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and tactical oversight for all day-to-day production processes within the textile and specialized embroidery units, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Operational Efficiency & Cost Management: Actively identify, plan, and implement cost-saving measures and process efficiency improvements (e.g., lean manufacturing principles) to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste in fabric handling and embroidery processes.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Establish and enforce stringent Quality Control (QC) protocols specific to textile finishing, dyeing, fabric integrity, and embroidery perfection, ensuring all products meet the company’s high standards and client specifications.
• Inventory & Logistics Management: Oversee the complete inventory lifecycle, including raw material (fabric, thread, embellishments) procurement, storage, movement, and finished goods inventory to guarantee timely dispatch and minimize holding costs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the critical link between the Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure clear communication, alignment on order specifications, and seamless translation of design concepts into high-quality manufactured goods.
• Team & Vendor Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the production workforce. Coordinate effectively with critical third-party vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure material availability and maintenance standards.

Must-Have Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in Production or Operations Management, specifically within the Textile Manufacturing, Garment, or Embroidery Industry.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep, verifiable knowledge of textile production processes, including loom operations, finishing, specialized embroidery techniques (machine and manual), and textile quality parameters.
• Leadership & Problem Solving: Proven track record in a senior leadership capacity, demonstrating strong team management, strategic planning, and hands-on, decisive problem-solving abilities on the factory floor.
• Technical Skills: Experience implementing ERP systems or similar operational software for inventory, production planning, and quality tracking is a plus.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in implementing efficiency measures, cost control initiatives, and managing large-scale production budgets.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
