Production Engineer

Job Description

Hiring Production Engineer with 3 years plus experience in plastic machine manufacturing or extrusion machine manufacturing set up. Industry: Plastics, Packaging, or Polymer Manufacturing Responsibilities: Production Oversight: Supervise and manage the manufacturing operation of blown film extrusion machines. Process Optimization: Ensure efficient utilization of materials, minimize waste, and optimize machine performance. Team Management: Lead and train production staff and technicians. Quality Assurance: Maintain consistent quality of films, meeting customer specifications and industry standards. Machine Maintenance: Oversee regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery. Inventory Control: Manage raw materials, monitor usage, and coordinate with procurement teams. Compliance: Ensure safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies are followed. Reporting: Provide detailed reports on production performance, machine efficiency, and material consumption. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of blown film extrusion processes and machinery. Proficiency in polymer properties and material behaviour. Leadership and team management skills. Analytical thinking for troubleshooting and process improvement. Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field. Experience: 3+ years in plastic extrusion or a similar manufacturing process. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with extrusion machinery, tools, and software.
