Job Title: Production Engineer - Steel Fabrication/Bridges

Location : Alwar, RJ

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer with experience in the steel fabrication or steel bridges industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality fabrication of steel components for various projects. This role requires technical expertise in steel fabrication techniques, project coordination skills, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

· Plan and coordinate production activities for steel fabrication projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.

· Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of steel fabrication operations.

· Collaborate with design engineers to review and interpret technical drawings, ensuring manufacturability and identifying any design-related issues.

· Determine the required resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to execute production plans effectively.

· Monitor and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to achieve production goals.

· Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, addressing any issues that arise during fabrication and assembly.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the production area.

· Collaborate with quality control personnel to establish and maintain quality standards and implement quality assurance processes.

· Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste reduction in the production environment.

· Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.

· Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for production activities.

· Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in steel fabrication techniques, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

· 2+ years proven experience in steel fabrication, steel bridges, or a similar industry.

· In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes, techniques, and equipment.

· Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

· Strong project coordination and planning skills.

· Familiarity with quality control principles and practices in steel fabrication.

· Experience with process optimization and lean manufacturing concepts.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

· Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
