Production Engineer

Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes in a high/multi-mix component environment. The candidate will drive lean manufacturing, ensure quality standards, and improve operational efficiency on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day production activities ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency metrics.

- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.

- Monitor production KPIs, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize throughput.

- Lead manpower planning, training, and team development for manufacturing excellence.

- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and quality regulations.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, work instructions, and process reports.

- Drive cost reduction and process efficiency initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute (IIT, NIT, or equivalent).

- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in a multi and high-mix component manufacturing environment.

- Exposure to lean manufacturing, discrete manufacturing techniques, and continuous improvement practices.

- Knowledge of safety standards, quality protocols, and production management tools.

- Proficiency in manufacturing software, data analysis, and process documentation.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary range: 10-12 LPA plus performance-based bonus.
