• Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor equipment maintenance; coordinate repairs or servicing as needed.
• Maintain production documentation, including:
• Daily/weekly reports
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Quality logs
• Train and supervise shop floor staff and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant quality standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee daily operations in the fabrication department to meet production schedules.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
• Implement and manage efficient fabrication processes and procedures.
• Develop and execute plans to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Preference given to candidates with sheet metal industry experience.
• Understand fabrication drawings accurately.
• Supervise a team of:
• Fabricators
• Fitters
• Turners
• Welders
• Responsible for commissioning machines at various sites.
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering setup.
• Strong understanding of:
• Manufacturing processes
• CNC/lathe/machining operations
• Welding and assembly
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using CAD tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of:
• Lean manufacturing principles
• 5S methodology
• Industry best practices
