Job Description – Production Engineer

Position: Production Engineer
Experience: 5–6 Years
Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical)
Industry: Manufacturing / Factory / Plant Operations
Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet targets and quality standards.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
• Supervise shop-floor operations and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation as per company standards.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and safety norms.
• Train and guide operators and technicians to improve efficiency and skill levels.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of production processes and plant operations.
• Hands-on experience in factory or plant environments.
• Ability to analyze production data and improve processes.
• Good leadership and team-handling skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and quality systems.
• Basic knowledge of ERP / production reporting systems is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing plant or factory setup.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
