Production Assistant

Position Summary

The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of electronic products through precise assembly, soldering, wiring, and functional testing. The role ensures high-quality workmanship, adherence to production standards, and timely completion of tasks in coordination with the production team.

Key Responsibilities1. Electronic Assembly

• Assemble PCB components as per drawings, BOM, and assembly guidelines.
• Perform wiring, crimping, connector fixing, and mechanical fitting of enclosures.
• Handle surface-mount (SMD) and through-hole components as required.
• Ensure proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety precautions during handling.

2. Soldering

• Perform high-quality hand soldering for THT/SMD components.
• Inspect solder joints for quality and rework if needed.
• Use soldering stations, hot-air guns, flux, desoldering tools, etc.
• Maintain soldering tools and ensure safe handling.

3. Testing & Quality Checks

• Conduct functional testing of assembled PCBs and finished units.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment.
• Identify assembly or component faults and assist in troubleshooting.
• Record test results and ensure compliance with quality standards.

4. Production Support

• Follow daily production plans and meet timelines.
• Maintain proper documentation for assembly and testing activities.
• Assist in packaging, labeling, and dispatch preparations when required.
• Report material shortages or issues to the supervisor.

5. Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow workplace safety, ESD protection norms, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain clean workstations and proper tool organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
