Production Assistant

The Production Assistant will support day-to-day manufacturing activities by assisting in assembly, packing, material handling, and basic quality checks. The role ensures smooth workflow on the shop floor, proper coordination between teams, and adherence to production standards, safety, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in production operations including assembly, fitting, labeling, and packaging of instruments/products.
• Support machine operators and technicians in daily manufacturing tasks.
• Handle material movement, loading/unloading, and maintaining stock at workstations.
• Maintain daily production logs, job sheets, and assist in updating production reports.
• Perform basic quality checks during assembly and ensure components meet required standards.
• Coordinate with the Production, QC, and Stores departments for material availability and workflow.
• Ensure all parts are properly identified, stored, and used as per process instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards on the shop floor.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report any equipment issues or hazards to supervisors.
• Assist in dispatch preparation when required, including product packing and final checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10th/12th/ITI/Diploma (any technical field preferred).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read simple instructions and work with tools/equipment.
• Good coordination, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Experience:
0–2 years (Freshers can apply).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
