Key Responsibilities: 1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping: • Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/ERP system. • Maintain books of accounts as per statutory and internal standards. • Manage accounts payable and receivable. • Track advances, payments, and receipts accurately. 2. Costing & Inventory Accounting: • Maintain cost sheets and production-related financial records. • Monitor raw material consumption and finished goods valuation. • Analyze manufacturing overheads, job costing, and BOM variances. • Liaise with the store department for inventory control and stock audits. 3. Taxation & Compliance: • Prepare and file GST returns monthly and annually. • Handle and advice management on TDS calculation, computation and filing. • Assist in statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, and PT (if applicable). • Coordinate with consultants for timely tax payments and audits. 4. Reconciliation & Reporting: • Prepare bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports. • Support internal and statutory audits with documentation and reports. • Monitor ageing reports and support credit control efforts. 5. Coordination & Support: • Work closely with production, stores, and dispatch teams for accurate costing. • Support budgeting and forecasting exercises. • Liaise with external parties such as vendors, auditors, and consultants. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / Inter CA preferred. • 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing unit. • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, etc.), and basic ERP systems. • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and costing principles. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and handle pressure in a plant environment.
