Key Responsibilities: 1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping: • Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/ERP system. • Maintain books of accounts as per statutory and internal standards. • Manage accounts payable and receivable. • Track advances, payments, and receipts accurately. 2. Costing & Inventory Accounting: • Maintain cost sheets and production-related financial records. • Monitor raw material consumption and finished goods valuation. • Analyze manufacturing overheads, job costing, and BOM variances. • Liaise with the store department for inventory control and stock audits. 3. Reconciliation & Reporting: • Prepare bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports. • Support internal and statutory audits with documentation and reports. • Monitor ageing reports and support credit control efforts. 5. Visit customer sites (chemical/process plants) for installation, commissioning, and servicing of FEDA Inc. agitators, mixers, and reactors. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, including inspection of mechanical parts (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, seals, couplings, lubrication, etc.). Diagnose and resolve on-site issues such as vibration, noise, seal leakage, or mixing inefficiency, ensuring optimal equipment performance. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to share field feedback, identify failure trends, and suggest design improvements. Prepare and maintain accurate service documentation—reports, checklists, breakdown analyses, and parts usage records. Train customer operators on safe handling, routine maintenance, and performance monitoring of equipment. Adhere to all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards during on-site activities. Identify and coordinate spare-part requirements with logistics and manufacturing teams. Provide remote technical assistance and escalate complex issues as needed. Support new product commissioning, retrofit, and modification projects in coordination with internal teams.
Assemble agitators, mixers, gearboxes, and mechanical components as per drawing and work instructions. Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, grinding, and alignment of parts during assembly. Conduct pre-dispatch inspection and assist in equipment testing and trial runs. Maintain tools, equipment, and the cleanliness of the assembly area. Vendor & Customer Management Verify supplier bills, purchase orders, and GRNs for accuracy before processing payments. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for payment collection. Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly. 5. Banking & Treasury Manage daily bank transactions and cash flow. Prepare bank reconciliation statements and manage LC/BG documentation when required. Liaise with banks for financial facilities and related documentation. 6. Internal Controls Implement and monitor accounting controls and cost-saving measures. Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. Identify areas for process improvement within finance and accounting functions.
