Job Description

1 Accounting & Bookkeeping. Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Tally or similar accounting software. Ensure correct posting of journal entries, depreciation, provisions, and accruals. 2. Financial Reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Conduct variance analysis and prepare MIS reports for management review. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis. 3. Taxation & Compliance. Prepare & Handle GST returns, TDS, and Income Tax compliance, including filing and reconciliations. Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for audits and ensure timely completion. Maintain compliance with all government regulations including PF, ESIC, and other statutory filings. 4. Vendor & Customer Management Verify supplier bills, purchase orders, and GRNs for accuracy before processing payments. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for payment collection. Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly. 5. Banking & Treasury Manage daily bank transactions and cash flow. Prepare bank reconciliation statements and manage LC/BG documentation when required. Liaise with banks for financial facilities and related documentation. 6. Internal Controls Implement and monitor accounting controls and cost-saving measures. Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. Identify areas for process improvement within finance and accounting functions.
