Product Security Engineer

JD : Responsibilities • Troubleshoot application security issues reported in VAPT assessments, debugging distributed applications by analyzing logs, metrics, and implementing immediate remediation. • Communicate with management and customers regarding unusual system behaviors. • Monitor and audit all aspects of the production application stack, creating alerts and dashboards based on monitoring data. • Influence software and architecture design based on insights related to application security. • Design, develop, and maintain automation software, scripts, and tools. • Analyze and upgrade applications to enhance their cybersecurity posture. • Manage and lead a small team, preparing shift plans and handling other team management activities. Behavioral skills • Exceptional verbal and written communication skill Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting, Python, or Go, with the ability to quickly learn new languages. • Strong understanding of the Linux environment, including its fundamentals, internals, and administration. • In-depth knowledge of the OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities for web and mobile applications. • Familiarity with at least one widely used database platform (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch is a plus). • Experience in developing automation tools and frameworks to streamline operational tasks, code deployment, applications, services, and systems. • Represent security during design reviews and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to ensure operational readiness. • Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and container technologies. • Knowledge of security standards such as ISMS and PCI DSS. • Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services. • Hands-on experience with various security testing tools, including Burp Suite and ZAP Prox
