Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner to organize, prioritize and assess work for our scrum team. Product Owner responsibilities include defining the product vision, gathering feature requests, prioritizing the product backlog, and collaborating with development teams to deliver a successful product. He will also be responsible for scheduling releases, coordinating sprints and managing the support process. To be successful in this role, the candidate should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. Ultimately, the candidate will help us roll out products that deliver our companys vision

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring products are rolled out as per companys vision
• Creating, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog, ensuring it reflects both business and technical needs
• Developing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
• Setting sprint goals and coordinating sprint execution
• Working with the development team to ensure the product is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the defined quality standards
• Plan and schedule product releases and upgrades
• Managing support process to ensure that the user issues are resolved satisfactorily within SLA
• Keep track of industry trends and benchmark the product against best solutions available in the industry

Must Have Skills

1. Able to do end to end management of product (Take full ownership of the product from requirement gathering to execution, delivery and support)
2. Client interaction
3. Requirement gathering
4. User story grooming
5. Backlog prioritization/ Product roadmap
6. Knows KPIs of product he is managing
7. Basic understanding of technology used in their product
8. Take part in execution (Running scrum or taking part in scrum, assigning of work to team members etc.)
9. Knows agile methodologies and sprint ceremonies (Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective)

Good To Have Skills

1. Knowledge of automotive sales process
2. Able to do product benchmarking
3. Some project management experience
4. Product owner/Scrum master certifications
5. Has managed support or knows support process?
6. Knows about SLAs and Levels of support (L1, L2, L3)
7. Advanced technical knowledge of the product they are managing
