We are seeking a Product Manager / Senior Product Manager to lead initiatives in the Payments Platform and Gateway domain for a leading fintech organisation.

The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to digital payments, merchant acquiring, and API-based platform products, along with a deep understanding of how payment systems operate — from authorization to settlement.

This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge payment infrastructure, collaborating across technology, business, and client teams to deliver secure, scalable, and seamless payment experiences

⚙ Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the core payments platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.

• Manage end-to-end implementation of payment gateway and collection products across multiple client verticals.

• Collaborate with internal technology, operations, and business teams to translate client requirements into product features.

• Define and optimize payment flows, authentication processes, and transaction lifecycles.

• Oversee merchant onboarding, API integrations, and system configuration for new product rollouts.

• Ensure timely resolution of issues and manage ongoing platform improvements.

• Drive compliance and security initiatives in line with industry and regulatory standards (RBI, PCI-DSS, etc.).

• Contribute to the product roadmap, identifying enhancement opportunities based on data, feedback, and market trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 4–14 years total, with at least 3+ years in Product Management in Fintech / Payments / Banking.

• Domain Expertise: Must have worked on Payment Gateway, Digital Payments, Merchant Acquiring, or Core Payment Platforms.

• Technical Exposure: Practical understanding of APIs, Web Services, Authentication, Reconciliation, and Settlement Systems.

• Implementation Background: Prior experience implementing or improving payment systems such as ECS, EBPP, UPI, Netbanking, or Card Processing.

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech (preferably Computer Science / IT).

• Location: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane.

• Not considering profiles from Marketing, Growth, UI/UX, or non-fintech product backgrounds.
