Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and evolve the product roadmap for scalable content platforms and research workflows.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on impact, effort, and alignment with user and business goals.

Technical Execution

• Work closely with engineering teams to design and launch scalable, modular systems that can handle large volumes of content and traffic.
• Collaborate on API development, search infrastructure, and system performance optimization.

SEO Leadership

• Lead the integration of

  technical SEO

  principles into product design – including structured data, crawlability, sitemaps, indexing strategies, canonicalization, and performance optimization.
• Partner with growth and content teams to ensure discoverability of scientific content across platforms.

User-Centric Development

• Translate complex user workflows from life sciences researchers and institutions into intuitive, high-performance digital products.
• Gather insights through customer research, usage analytics, and stakeholder feedback.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as the bridge between engineering, content, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive product experiences.
• Manage external partnerships or vendor integrations as needed.

Must Have:

• 5+ years in product management roles, ideally building B2B SaaS products.
• Solid technical foundation – understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud architecture, and data pipelines.
• Proven experience with technical SEO (e.g., schema markup, page speed, log file analysis, SEO audits).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in using tools like GA4, Search Console, or Ahrefs.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma).

Preferred:

• Experience working in or building products for life sciences, research workflows, or publishing platforms.
• Prior exposure to scientific content platforms, semantic search, or metadata-rich systems.
• Understanding of UX principles and accessibility for complex information systems.
