Product Manager

We are hiring a Product Manager for a cutting-edge product company based in Hyderabad. This company operates as a subsidiary of a large multinational organization and is focused on building a fully digitized trade finance platform.

The platform connects businesses seeking supply chain financing with investors interested in trade finance assets. Role summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our platform. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, understand business requirements, and effectively communicate product roadmap and specifications to the development teams.

A strong background in trade finance and proficiency in understanding user needs and associated technical solutions will be essential for this role. Prior experience with UI/UX design is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, process flows, and user needs within the trade finance domain.
• Create and manage product roadmap which align with companies’ objectives and convert roadmap into development buckets.
• Translate development buckets into epics, user stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and specificity using JIRA.
• Enrich user stories with user interface designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct thorough analysis of trade finance data schemas, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and QA, to prioritize and deliver product features.
• Participate in testing activities to validate the functionality and performance of the platform.
• Provide subject matter expertise in trade finance and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to trade finance.

Role specific technical competencies:

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance or Technology
• Proven experience as a product manager or business analyst, preferably in trade finance
• Familiarity with collaborating with colleagues in multi-national environments
• Familiarity with trade finance processes, products, and industry standards.
• 2-5 years of experience is preferred.

Collaboration and Communication

• Ability to effectively communicate detailed requirements to technical members and bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
• Ability to communicate requirements to both business team and development team in different countries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technology Skills

• Sufficient technical background to drive technology development.
• Familiarity with JIRA for recording user requirements
• Familiarity in analysing and working with complex data schemas.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Professionalism

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
