We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our fast-paced Innovation Environment at Airbus. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally across Airbus divisions, engaging closely with management stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate discussions, identify pain points, define problem statements, and shape a strategic product roadmap. They will be responsible for defining the scope of projects, identifying immediate focus areas, quick wins , and drafting mid- to long-term use cases .
This role requires strong stakeholder management , a customer-centric approach , and the ability to map product features to user stories and business requirements . Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for drafting business cases and financial benefit models to support Airbus s innovation strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Roadmap Development:

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify challenges, pain points, and market gaps to define problem statements.

Develop and maintain the product roadmap , ensuring alignment with Airbus s strategic priorities .

Define short-term focus areas and long-term goals while mapping them to business objectives .

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to position Airbus s innovative solutions effectively.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:

Work with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features .

Gather, analyze, and document customer and business requirements , converting them into actionable user stories .

Facilitate cross-functional discussions and workshops to capture AS-IS processes and future opportunities .

Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure feasibility and impact assessment .
Product Execution & Lifecycle Management:

Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle , from concept to deployment and post-launch enhancements.

Establish and track KPIs, milestones, and financial impact metrics .

Develop frameworks for value and impact mapping to measure product success .

Manage vendor relationships , ensuring performance tracking and timely delivery of solutions.

Ensure version control, release planning, and effective feature rollout strategies.

Drive innovation by identifying new technologies, trends, and customer needs .
Business & Financial Planning:

Develop and present business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and financial impact assessments .

Align product initiatives with Airbus s financial and operational goals .

Support budget management and resource allocation for projects.

Continuously research competitors, industry trends, and emerging technologies to enhance Airbus s product offerings.
Qualifications & Experience: Education:

Bachelors or Master s degree in Engineering, Business, Innovation, or related fields .

PMP, Agile, or Product Management certifications (preferred).
Experience:

7+ years of experience in product or project management within innovation, digital transformation, or aerospace industries .

Proven ability to manage end-to-end product lifecycle, stakeholder engagement, and financial planning .

Experience in business case development, market research, and product strategy .

Strong background in facilitating workshops, roadmap planning, and product execution .

Prior exposure to vendor management and performance tracking .
