Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Product Management and Architecture teams to ensure end-to-end product architecture and requirements.

• Ensure alignment across software, mechanical, and electrical teams.

• Ensure integration readiness for each product milestone.
• Lead the design and implementation of the hardware & software engineering function at WDTS India.
• Improve, train, and support teams in adopting and adhering to engineering processes, governance standards, tools, and templates.
• Promote effective use of development, testing, tracking, and communication tools across teams.
• Support the Management Team in prioritizing and assigning engineering work across teams.
• Provide regular updates to teams, stakeholders, and the broader business on progress, issues, and risks.
• Lead technical documentation, design reviews, and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Track and manage product milestones, activities, tasks, and changes through formal systems.

Requirements

• Resourceful, with strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• 12+ years of experience in hardware and software product development, with significant leadership exposure.

• Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical design.

• Hands-on experience with PCB design and development.

• Background in both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
• Strong process improvement and governance expertise.
• Experience managing stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment.
