About The Role

As sourcing & procurement head at Dressfolk, you will play a critical role in managing end-to-end procurement. This role demands a strong understanding of procurement P&L;, inventory management and the ability to optimize efficiency in having the correct stock levels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, while maintaining the highest standards of effectiveness.

What You'll Do

• Lead sourcing and production across crafts, textiles, and categories to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Plan and allocate production efficiently with artisan clusters and vendor partners.
• Manage end-to-end production processes, ensuring optimal use of manpower and raw materials.
• Maintain strong vendor and artisan relationships, ensuring scale while preserving quality.
• Oversee and monitor production P&L; to drive cost efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production with business goals. 

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing textiles, working directly with artisans, preferably in an ethnic wear brand.
• Deep knowledge of Indian textiles, crafts, and production techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and production P&L; management.
• Ability to plan, forecast, and allocate production resources efficiently.
• Hands-on experience in managing vendor and artisan networks.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and execution ability in high-growth environments.
