Job Summary: A Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities, ensuring the acquisition of goods, services, and works in a cost-effective and timely manner. This role involves developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, and overseeing the procurement process from order placement to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Procurement Strategies: Create and implement strategies to optimize sourcing and supplier selection processes.
• Supplier Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Purchase Order Management: Prepare and manage purchase orders in line with the company’s needs and budget.
• Order Tracking: Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with contract terms.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
• Risk Management: Assess, manage, and mitigate risks in the procurement process.
• Record Keeping: Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

• Strong partnerships with manufacturers in the cosmetics industry is must.
