Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager at the company based in Kesari, Ambala Haryana, your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging material, and consumables. - Forecasting procurement needs based on production schedules, inventory levels, and sales projections. - Building vendor pipelines to ensure availability, quality, and cost-efficiency. - Identifying, evaluating, and finalizing vendors for different categories. - Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers. - Conducting vendor audits and ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and food safety standards. - Preparing and managing purchase orders and contracts in ERP/Tally. - Monitoring delivery timelines and coordinating with the warehouse and production team for smooth material flow. - Maintaining strong coordination with accounts, logistics, and QA/QC teams. - Monitoring commodity price trends and planning purchases to optimize costs. - Ensuring minimum stock levels and avoiding overstocking or stockouts. - Analyzing procurement data and generating cost-saving reports for management. - Ensuring compliance with FSSAI, GST, and other statutory procurement norms. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase records, agreements, and vendor documentation. - Ensuring traceability for all food-related ingredients and packaging materials. Key Skills Required: - Strong negotiation, vendor development, and contract management skills. - Deep understanding of food ingredients and packaging materials. - Familiarity with procurement software (Tally, ERP, SAP, etc.). - Knowledge of food safety standards, cold chain logistics, and perishables procurement. - Good analytical and communication skills. Qualifications: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Food Technology, or Business Management. - Certification in procurement/supply chain/logistics is a plus. - Prior experience in a food processing or frozen food environment is essential.,
