Job Description

The incumbent should have 8 -12 years of experience in procurement/sourcing.


  • Responsible for the Goods & Service spends of TEMIPL
  • Manage a supplier base of respective Categories (Average 500+ Active suppliers)


Roles & responsibilities:

  • To identify the addressable spends in Goods & Service through OPEX Budget / Spend analysis / category management tools
  • Responsible for developing, tracking and reporting the TOIPL’s Procurement Plan and Strategy
  • Technical Evaluation
  • Ensure the approved technical specification, data sheets are established for all G&S purchase.
  • Bids to be technically evaluated in coordination with end users, technical and health & safety teams.
  • Make sure the change management system recommendation captured and Implemented for all technical purchases.
  • Constructively challenge the business with reference to the scope & requirement
  • Procurement
  • Creating eRFQ / tenders for competitive bidding through SAP Ariba
  • Prepare and Issue Contract / Purchase order through SAP PR-PO process.
  • To secure optimal conditions in terms of the price and service acquired with the quality, safety approach pursued by the group
  • Participating in the express or needs of Internal including a full cost analysts
  • Analysis of negotiated savings and cost reduction
  • Vendor Management
  • To secure supplier Pre Analysis (SQSCI) and ICC Pre-evaluation grids / Audit reports to perform the due diligence of supplier
  • Performance evaluation of active suppliers and implement business & supplier improvement plan
  • Contract Management
  • Maintain and Review Centralized Contracts List and plan for smooth renewal of contracts along with business and legal team. Approximately 40 contracts every year
  • Group & HSEQ compliance
  • Ensuring Total global Procurement compliance for all purchasing decisions
  • Ensure Group’s Fundamental Purchase Principals and Code of Conduct has been adopted in all purchases
  • Integration or HSEQ requirements in purchasing practices as required by various business divisions
  • To get involved in ad-hoc requirements & projects according to the need of the organization
  • Coordinating the preparations of purchasing reporting and keeping local management informed
  • Managing & Monitoring internal purchase workflow systems and Management systems
  • Customer centric approach & Stakeholder management
