Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Procurement Management:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for civil works, materials, and services.
  
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  
• Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
  

• Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and finalize contracts for civil works in collaboration with legal and project teams.
  
• Negotiate contract terms with vendors, contractors, and consultants.
  
• Monitor contract compliance, resolve disputes, and handle contract variations/claims.
  

• Vendor & Supplier Development:

• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  
• Conduct periodic vendor assessments and performance reviews.
  

• Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Work with project teams to prepare procurement budgets.
  
• Track procurement costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
  

• Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure adherence to statutory, legal, and company compliance requirements in all contracts and procurement processes.
  
• Maintain updated documentation for audits and management review.
  

• Stakeholder Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, legal teams, and other departments for seamless execution.
  
• Provide regular updates to senior management on procurement and contract status.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (MBA in Supply Chain/Contracts Management preferred).

• Experience:

  8-12 years of experience in contracts and procurement, with at least 5 years in civil construction projects (real estate/infrastructure).
