Contracts Manager *Key Responsibilities* - Draft, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts including IT service agreements, software licenses, vendor contracts, and NDAs to support PHI s technology and operational goals. - Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, including IRDAI guidelines and data protection laws. - Develop and maintain standardized templates and tools for procurement contracts to drive efficiency and consistency. - Provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks while aligning with PHI s business objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, procurement, and compliance, to address legal and operational needs effectively. Minimum Qualification: i JD, LL.B., or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. Capability to draft contracts in plain English is a must. A minimum of 5 years of in-house experience in procurement contracts, particularly in technology companies or a mix of in-house and law firms. Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex, high-value agreements with attention to detail and legal compliance. Superior legal skills and business judgement in areas of responsibility. Preferred qualities: Working knowledge of insurance sector, consumer protection, contracts, and data protection laws in a technology-driven environment. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as IRDAI and industry best practices in contract lifecycle management. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with contract management tools. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and startup-like environment. Location: Mumbai (full time on site role) .
