We are seeking a Backup Administrator with 2-5 years of experience supporting backup solutions, primarily focused on Commvault and possessing knowledge of NetBackup, Veeam, and similar technologies. The ideal candidate should be passionate, hardworking, and responsible, demonstrating proficiency in monitoring and managing backups. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of multiple backup applications on client/cloud servers.Maintaining Backup Infrastructure for Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup etc.Experience in providing Weekly / Monthly Backup reports as per customer requirements.Experience in configuring backup policies, schedules, alerts. Good Knowledge and experience on integrating backup solutions with Cloud platforms like Azure/AWS/GCP/OCI will be an added advantage. Daily health checks on Backup infrastructure and Backup Failures identification and troubleshoot issues as needed.Knowledge on configuring and restoring DB level backups (SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, Sybase, SAP Oracle, Exchange, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.)Very strong knowledge of Commvault & NetBackup, Backup Policies, Media Agents, and clients. Logical components like storage policies, schedule policies and sub-client policies, SLPs etc.Knowledge of VMware, Windows and Linux operation systems, Networking, Security, D2D & Tape Library concepts including associated technologies in an Enterprise multi-site Backup environment.Knowledgeable in data center operations including handling tape library configuration and day to day operations.Good to have intermediate Certification in Commvault/ NetBackup/Veeam etc. Perform daily monitoring and management of the backup solutions (Commvault and Others) implemented across the infrastructure facilities as per pre-defined policies & procedures.Supporting and troubleshooting Backup & Recovery in a large, complex, and distributed environments.Willing to work after office hours to manage escalations when necessary 24x7 availability as required.
