Procurement Lead

As a Procurement Lead for our reputed client in Navi Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to lead, manage, and optimize the procurement function for CAPEX items and raw materials. Your role will require strong commercial, technical, and negotiation skills to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, statutory, and organizational standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Formulate and implement procurement strategies for CAPEX equipment, raw materials for Cell and Module Lines, and utilities. - Identify sourcing opportunities, evaluate market trends, and drive cost optimization initiatives. - Develop, update, and maintain the approved vendor list. - Manage end-to-end vendor onboarding, evaluation, approval, and selection. - Prepare and compile tender documents including RFP, EOI, NIT, ITB, GCC, SCC, and other contractual documentation. - Lead high-level negotiations with vendors/contractors to secure the best commercial and technical terms. - Monitor contract execution, supplier performance, and compliance with contractual terms till closure. - Conduct periodic vendor performance assessments based on quality, delivery timelines, pricing, and service responsiveness. - Lead techno-legal-commercial negotiations for materials and services. - Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies, audit requirements, legal frameworks, and statutory compliances across all procurement activities. **Qualification Required:** - B.Tech or M.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field preferred). The company is looking for someone with over 10 years of experience in the solar renewable industry.
