Procurement Lead

As an experienced Procurement Manager with 11 to 15 years of experience, you will be responsible for various key areas in the procurement process. Your qualifications should include a BE in any stream, or a graduate with an MBA in Material Management. **Role Overview:** You will be required to handle indirect procurement for a variety of categories including Mechanical, Electrical, Utility, Instrument, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Safety, Admin, HR, Housekeeping, Civil & Quality Lab Consumables, Change Parts of Machinery, and Alternative Fuel (FO, LDO & HSD). Your role will involve managing the entire procurement process for the plant, including capex items, MRO items, raw materials, lab chemicals, packaging items, and technical buying. Additionally, you will be responsible for the P2P process for the site, store activities, cost-effective sourcing, imports, vendor development, and inventory management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Warehouse management - Vendor management and assessments - Procurement of various categories including Mechanical, Electrical, Utility, Instrument, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Safety, Admin, HR, Housekeeping, Civil & Quality Lab Consumables, Change Parts of Machinery, and Alternative Fuel (FO, LDO & HSD) - Procurement of capex items and all types of MRO items - Buying of raw materials, lab chemicals, and packaging items - Responsible for the entire P2P process for the site - Handling store activities - Focus on cost-effective sourcing and imports - Vendor development and inventory management - Sound knowledge of business processes and projects related to the purchase of chemicals/engineering items - Management of all types of service contracts - Knowledge of SOPs and IMS - Monitoring and handling of the team - Supplier relationship management **Qualifications Required:** - BE in any stream or graduate with an MBA in Material Management In this role, you will interact internally with Procurement, Logistics, and Stores teams, making decisions on pricing, purchase decisions, inventory control, dispatches, and billing management. Externally, you will engage with vendors, transporters, and service contractors to ensure smooth operations.
