Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Procurement Professional to lead sourcing and procurement activities for large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role involves handling end-to-end procurement for treatment plants, pumping stations, transmission pipelines, and O&M requirements.

Key responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, preparing RFQs, evaluating techno-commercial bids, negotiating pricing and terms, finalizing contracts, and managing a reliable vendor base for mechanical, electrical, civil, and water-treatment packages. The position requires strong technical understanding of pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, chemicals, electromechanical equipment, and other project-critical materials.
The role will work closely with engineering, project management, construction, and quality teams to ensure all procured items meet specification, standards, timelines, and budget. Additional responsibilities include cost optimization, supply-chain risk mitigation, vendor performance monitoring, documentation control, and ERP-based procurement (SAP/Oracle preferred).
Ideal candidates will have strong experience in procurement within water/wastewater, infrastructure, EPC, utilities, or industrial projects; excellent negotiation and communication skills; strong commercial awareness; and the ability to manage multiple parallel packages and stakeholders.
