Procurement Executive (Fruits, Vegetables & Organic Products)

Location: Daryaganj, Delhi
Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Procurement Executive with strong expertise in fruits, vegetables, and organic products. The role involves sourcing high-quality produce, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring freshness and quality standards, and supporting the sales team with product knowledge and market insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience, strong market knowledge, and a passion for fresh and organic produce.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source premium-quality fruits, vegetables, and organic products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Conduct regular field visits to farms, mandis, and suppliers as per business needs.
• Ensure quality control, freshness, and compliance of all procured produce.
• Oversee logistics and ensure timely delivery of produce to designated locations.
• Monitor pricing trends, seasonal availability, and product quality to optimize procurement decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, and supplier documents.
• Provide market and product insights to support the sales and operations teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in fruits/vegetables procurement.
• Strong knowledge of organic produce and seasonal fruits/vegetables.
• Willingness to travel frequently within and outside Delhi-NCR.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Google Maps, etc.).
• Preferably from a supply chain, agri-business, or food industry background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
