Job Description

As a Procurement Executive, you play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end procurement process. Your responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, executing procurement operations, controlling costs, coordinating inventory and logistics, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Supplier Management: - Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost competitiveness, product quality, reliability, and service performance. - Develop and maintain a robust supplier database for supply continuity and business resilience. - Conduct regular supplier audits and performance evaluations. - Establish strategic relationships with key vendors to drive innovation and cost efficiency. - Sourcing & Procurement Operations: - Manage the complete procurement cycle, from requisition to purchase order issuance and goods receipt. - Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tenders for major purchases. - Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply availability. - Follow up on purchase orders for on-time delivery and resolve supply disruptions. - Cost Control & Optimization: - Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product/service quality. - Analyze market trends for new suppliers, materials, and procurement optimization opportunities. - Evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO) and recommend sourcing strategies accordingly. - Inventory & Logistics Coordination: - Coordinate procurement schedules with inventory and production needs. - Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock. - Support logistics and import/export processes, ensuring compliance with regulations. - Compliance & Documentation: - Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, internal controls, and legal regulations. - Maintain accurate documentation of purchase records, supplier contracts, and performance reports. - Participate in audits and uphold ISO or quality management systems compliance. Qualifications & Competencies: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing. - Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Dashboards) and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle JDE. - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract terms, vendor evaluation, international sourcing, and import/export documentation. - Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
