Procurement Executive

As a Procurement Manager at our company, your role involves identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers for sports goods, apparel, footwear, and accessories. You will maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and timely availability. Additionally, you will explore both local and international sourcing opportunities for exclusive and trending sports products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers for sports goods - Maintaining strong supplier relationships for reliability and quality - Exploring local and international sourcing opportunities - Tracking vendor performance through key metrics - Managing supplier database, contracts, and periodic reviews - Ensuring all procurement activities comply with company policies and statutory requirements - Partnering with Marketing and Merchandising teams for product procurement - Collaborating with Logistics and Warehouse teams to streamline delivery timelines - Conducting market research and competitor benchmarking - Developing and maintaining a database of reliable suppliers - Supporting clearance planning and inventory liquidation To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field - 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in retail, sports, or lifestyle industry - Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills - Knowledge of retail supply chain, import/export documentation, and category management - Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement software - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking abilities Preferred qualifications include: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Proactive and solution-oriented mindset - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-store retail environment - Passion for sports and understanding of product trends This is a full-time, permanent position located in person.,
