Process & Proposal Engineer

Job Title: Process & Proposal Engineer Location: Aundh, Pune Qualification: Bachelor/ Master/Diploma/B. Tech Chemical Experience: 7+ years Salary Budget: As per market standard Key Responsibilities: Process Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of water treatment processes for large-scale plants, including Municipal, Desalination, and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. Engineering Documentation: Prepare and review detailed engineering documents, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Generate accurate cost estimates and BOQs for projects, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions. Project Management Support: Assist in project planning and execution, providing technical guidance and support to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Compliance and Standards Adherence: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Ideal Candidate Profile: Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (BE – Chemical). Industry Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in process design within the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) industry. Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in handling projects with capacities of 50 MLD STP or RO equivalent to 10 MLD. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in process design, basic and detailed engineering, and preparation of engineering proposals. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with process design and simulation software. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
