Job Description

As a Chemical/Environmental Engineer with 5-6 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater treatment Industry, your role involves: - Demonstrating sound technical knowledge on water and wastewater technologies. - Handling tender study, understanding specifications, making pre-bid queries, and selecting schemes. - Creating technical proposals for water & wastewater treatment plants, including design, process description, control philosophy, equipment description, and scope of supply. - Designing wastewater and water treatment plants, UF, RO, DM, and collaborating with Electrical and Instrumentation department for engineering documents. - Generating BOQ and cost estimations for project bidding. - Preparing Basic Engineering Package, developing drawings and documents, and O & M Manual. - Meeting clients for engineering discussions, interacting with consultants/vendors/contractors for quotations, and identifying new technologies globally. - Conducting pilot scale studies with new technological solutions at various locations under different conditions. - Reviewing plant operating results, preparing analysis reports, writing case studies, newsletters, and press releases for plant performances. - Coordinating technically with team, consultants, and end users/customers. Qualifications: - B. Tech/B. E /M. Tech/ M.E in Chemical engineering/ Environmental engineering. - Minimum 5-6 years of Experience in Water & Wastewater treatment Industry. - Relevant experience in Designing Processes for Water/ Wastewater Treatment Projects like ETP, STP, WTP or WWTP. - Familiarity with MBR, MBBR, Aerobic, Anaerobic, UF, RO, SBR, DM Plant.
