Process Incharge - MSW Operations

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing biomining operations, ensuring legacy waste processing as per SWM Rules & environmental standards. Focus on process optimization, maximum material recovery, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination of manpower & machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily waste processing (feeding, screening, segregation, dispatch).
• Guide and monitor operators, helpers, and support staff.
• Maintain records of output material % and mass balance.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive/corrective actions.
• Ensure safe handling & dispatch of RDF, inert, and soil fractions.
• Support Site In-Charge with accurate DPR/MIS data.
• Conduct quality checks, sampling & lab coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement for higher production & lower losses.

Requirements

• Graduate (any discipline). Preference for candidates with Solid Waste Management background.
• 3–5 years of experience in SWM / Biomining / Waste Processing.
• Knowledge of Roto Machines, trommel operations, RDF handling.
• Strong leadership, process optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Word, reporting & documentation.
• Good communication skills (written & verbal).
