Job Overview Provide technical services and assistance including trouble-shooting, performance monitoring and optimization for petrochemical units. Key Responsibilities Provide post start-up technical services and assistance including trouble-shooting, performance monitoring and optimization. Primary contact for Lifecycle Service requests from technology licensee customers. Establish and maintain strong relationships with our customers to support their facilities throughout their entire lifecycle. Visit customer sites worldwide to assess petrochemical plant performance and recommend improvements. Record, compile, and analyze operating and design data to evaluate performance and diagnose issues. Survey customers to benchmark performance and practices. Provide feedback for improvement in design and procedures based on field experience. Answer operating and production questions after start-up/test run. Investigate process and operations issues with cross-functional teams. Participate in small engineering studies with multi-office project execution. Participate in design reviews with technology teams. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and training courses for customers, including the creation and maintenance of Best Practices and Troubleshooting Guides. Document all technical service activity, including recording of technical service tickets, tracking of man-hour usage, and capture of knowledge gained. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Education: B.S. in Chemical Engineering Minimum 7 years of work experience in plant operations in Petrochemical or Refining technologies.
