Process Engineer

• Support project/quotation team in business case calculation regarding new awards where laser process is considered
• Design review and approval for new equipment and fixture design
• Production accountability for launch of new laser equipment as per GPSC in India plants
• Creation of working instructions for laser cutting process for new launches
• Reduction of MOD thanks to ergonomic and layout improvements for current laser processes
• Improve laser head pathing and continues reduction of cycle time
• Creating of process cards and process routines
• Creation of TPM standards for production LVL 1 and 2
• Feasibility study of old project with creation of new tools and programs to improve usage of current assets
• Creation of skills guide module to improve skills and knowledge of local production/maintenance team

 These should include:

• Bachelor’s degree (or above) or technical apprenticeship / Diploma with least 3 years working experience in Automotive / Technical Parts industry.
• Experience in Process planning.
• Experience in carrying out complex solutions & detailed rough simulation in automatic line and stations.
• Experience in plant layout, station placement.
• Experience in cycle time investigation, simulation verification and cycle time optimization.
• Having background in mechanical engineering, familiar with fixture and gripper design is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and control system is preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Catia / Delmia is preferred.
• Stable personality, good working attitude, high sense of responsibility, Self-learning ability.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
