Position Summary:

The Principal serves as the instructional and administrative leader of the school, fostering academic excellence, positive school culture, and efficient operations. With a specialization in Mathematics, the Principal is expected to lead curriculum development and teacher mentoring in mathematics, promote STEM education, and drive student achievement in mathematical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Administration

• Provide visionary leadership aligned with the school's mission, goals, and values.
• Ensure compliance with educational policies, standards, and legal regulations.
• Oversee daily operations including staff management, student affairs, budgeting, and facility maintenance.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Academic Leadership (Mathematics Focus)

• Lead and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of a rigorous mathematics curriculum aligned with national standards.
• Mentor and evaluate mathematics teachers, ensuring high-quality instructional practices.
• Analyze math performance data and design strategies to improve learning outcomes.
• Promote innovative approaches to teaching mathematics, including technology integration and inquiry-based learning.

Teacher Development & Supervision

• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teachers and staff.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize professional development opportunities, particularly in math instruction and assessment.

Student Achievement & Wellbeing

• Monitor student progress across all subjects, with a focus on math proficiency and critical thinking.
• Support intervention strategies for students needing additional academic support.
• Foster a school culture that celebrates academic success and personal growth.

Community Engagement

• Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and the wider school community.
• Represent the school in educational networks, events, and partnerships.
• Encourage community involvement in school activities, particularly in STEM-related initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, or Mathematics.
• Valid teaching and administrative certification.
• Minimum 2–7 years of teaching experience, including a strong background in teaching mathematics.
• Proven experience in school leadership or senior administrative roles.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, data-driven instruction, and modern pedagogy.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.86 per month
