Job Description

Job Title: Principal, Kingston School of Management and Science

Job Summary

The Principal will provide strategic leadership and vision to the Management College, fostering academic excellence, innovation, and growth. The Principal will be responsible for managing the college's academic, administrative, and financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

1. Develop and implement the college's strategic plan, aligning with the institution's mission and vision.

2. Provide leadership and guidance to faculty members, promoting excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship.

3. Oversee the development and delivery of academic programs, ensuring relevance, quality, and accreditation compliance.

4. Foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and continuous improvement.

Administrative Management

1. Manage the college's administrative operations, including human resources, finance, infrastructure, and facilities.

2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.

3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.

4. Manage budgets, resources, and finances to achieve strategic objectives.

5.Guide Training & Placement Cell for internship, training and placement of student in various organizations.

6.Co-ordinate with academicians and business houses and organize FDP, guest lectures and national seminars.

7.Look after the progress made in respect of submission of papers to NBA and NAAC for getting accreditation of different courses and college respectively.

8.Maintain liaison with the Government bodies and affiliated University, MAKAUT if required.

Stakeholder Engagement

1. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including students, parents, alumni, employers, and industry partners.

2. Represent the college at local, national, and international forums, promoting its reputation and interests.

3. Foster partnerships and collaborations with other academic institutions, industries, and organizations.

Quality Assurance and Accreditation

1. Ensure the college meets the requirements of accreditation and quality assurance agencies.

2. Develop and implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of academic excellence.

3. Oversee the preparation of accreditation reports and self-study documents.

Student Experience and Support

1. Foster a student-cantered culture, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

2. Oversee the development and delivery of student support services, including academic advising, counselling, and career guidance.

3. Ensure student grievances and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

1. Phd in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management).

2. Masters in Management subjects

3. Minimum 15years of experience in Academics

4. Proven track record of successful leadership, management, and innovation in a management college or university.
