The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy PQS uses a state of art Modelling Tool and other in-house Engineering Tools in PQS Electromechanical design. The PQS Electromechanical Design (EM) Team is responsible for the design of the PQS Plant and the preparation of PQS Installation Drawings & Documents by developing a 3D Model in Revit.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Preparation of PQS Plant Layout (Yard Arrangement – Layout & Plan, Electrical HV / EHV Clearance Check). Preparation of Civil Task (Civil input) Drawings (Foundation, Conduit, Trench, and other civil Requirements) & preparation of Civil Conceptual Design, Preparation of PQS Control Building Layout (Electrical Cubicles, Thyristors, Pump skid Arrangement), Cable Trench & Conduit Layout.
- Preparation of Grounding & Lightning Protection Calculations and Layouts, Section Drawings / Erection Key Diagrams (Detailed Installation & Erection Drawings of PQS Plant).
- Preparation of Detailed Steel Drawings (For Manufacturing / Procurement & Installation), Preparation of Installation Drawings (Grounding Connections & Electrical Connections), Preparation of Busbar system data, Ampacity, cantilever & Magnetic Field Calculations.
- Preparation of Civil Foundation Load Calculations (Load input to Civil Design), Steel Design Calculations (Member Size, Foundation Bolt),Heat & Ventilation System Data Preparation (Input to HVAC design).
- Preparation / Review / Approval of Layout Engineering deliverables (Primary Design Deliverables of Layout (Plan & Section), Elec. Clearance Diagrams, Mag. Field Clearances, Erection Key Diagrams, Cable Trench & Conduit layout, Grounding & Lightning Protection, Civil Task (civil input) drawings, Typical Installation Documents).
- Preparation / Review / Approval of Design Calculations (Busbar (Flexible & Tube) Sizing, Short circuit force, Cantilever Strength, Insulation Co-Ordination / BIL, Sag-Tension, Spacer / Critical Span, Grounding, Lightning Protection, Static & Dynamic Load input to Civil Design).
- Preparation / Review / Approval of Technical Specification, Technical Data Sheets, Vendor Drawings / Data sheets, Vendor Evaluation (Technical) for Switchyard Components and Procurement Engineering.
- Purchasing Steel, Al, Connectors etc., Review of Equipment Drawings (Reactor, Capacitor, SA, LA, CT, PT, CB, Isolator, WB / Insulator, Cubicle, Cooling Skid etc.,)
- Review of Tender / Bidding specifications / SC Plant Modelling in 3D Environment by Revit. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
