Primary Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:

• Oversee curriculum planning and implementation across all subjects for primary grades
• Ensure lesson plans, assessments, and teaching methods align with the school’s vision and learning outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate teaching practices and student performance regularly.
• Support integration of 21st-century skills, creative thinking, and experiential learning in the classroom.

Teacher Management & Support:

• Supervise and mentor the primary teaching staff, offering constructive feedback and professional development.
• Conduct classroom observations and maintain quality control of academic delivery.
• Organize regular team meetings, workshops, and peer learning sessions.
• Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new teachers.

Student & Parent Engagement:

• Address academic or behavioral concerns in coordination with teachers and parents.
• Organize and oversee parent-teacher meetings, events, and progress discussions.
• Encourage student participation in co-curricular and enrichment activities.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Maintain academic records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate timetables, substitutions, assessments, and exam schedules.
• Work with school leadership in planning academic calendars and school events.
• Ensure adherence to school policies, protocols, and code of conduct.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Education (B.Ed / M.Ed preferred).
• Minimum

  5 years of teaching experience

  in a primary school;

  2+ years in a leadership role

  preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and handle conflict professionally.
• Knowledge of child development, innovative pedagogy, and progressive teaching strategies.
