Role Summary:

The Pre-Sales Manager – Proposals & Technical Support will be responsible for end-to-end proposal development, solution engineering, and technical support activities for Ceinsys’ offerings in Automation, SLDC systems, real-time analytics, PI System implementations, and related OT-IT integrations. This role is pivotal in driving high-quality responses to tenders and client queries, while supporting the business team with deep technical insights.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Proposal Development & Tender Support

• Lead and manage the preparation of technical and techno-commercial proposals for government and utility clients.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, EoIs, and BOQs related to automation, data acquisition, control center solutions, and energy analytics.
• Ensure proposal compliance with technical specs, solution architecture, scope of work, and evaluation criteria.

🔹 Solution Design & Technical Support

• Support solution architects and business teams in crafting automation & data integration solutions tailored for Water utilities, SLDCs, Gencos, and Transcos.
• Contribute to defining architecture for PI System (PI Server, PI AF, PI Interfaces, PI Vision, etc.).
• Assist in designing POCs, technical walkthroughs, and client demos.

🔹 Client Interaction & Coordination

• Join customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to articulate solution value and architecture.
• Liaise with OEMs (AVEVA, automation vendors, SCADA integrators) to obtain solution components and documentation.

🔹 Knowledge Management & Documentation

• Maintain a library of

  technical content, standard responses, solution notes, and reusable assets

  for future bids.
• Prepare whitepapers, capability decks, and technology notes for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/ Instrumentation/Electronics/ Computer Science/IT

• Experience:

• 6–10 years of experience in pre-sales, proposal writing, or technical consulting in energy/utility automation or IT-OT domains.
• Similar exposure on PI System or similar historian/real-time data platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience with Govt utility tenders, EPC documentation, and SLDC/SCADA system specs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Good understanding of power sector operations, especially SLDC, EMS, SCADA/DCS, and data historian platforms.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and tools like Power BI, Visio, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple bids, tight deadlines, and cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Industry Background:

• SCADA system integrators or PI System implementers
• Utilities-focused automation or analytics solution providers
