Job Description

Pre-Sales Associate Location: Bangalore, India Immediate Joiner Required Experience: 2-3 Years in Sales (preferably EdTech) Role Overview: As a Pre-Sales Associate, youll be the first point of contact for students whove shown interest in our programs. Your job is to qualify leads, understand their aspirations, check eligibility, and seamlessly pass the baton to our Senior Counselors for conversion. This is a critical role in the sales funnel and ideal for someone who is energetic, empathetic, and thrives on impactful conversations. What Youll Do: 1. Call and qualify incoming leads from campaigns, website, and outreach sources. 2. Engage with students (and parents) to understand their interests, educational background, and study abroad goals. 3. Ask relevant questions to gauge fit and eligibility for specific programs (UG/PG, 2+2, Direct US, etc.). 4. Handle objections, doubts, or FAQs about international education, tuition, timelines, or application steps. 5. Identify Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and hand them over to Senior Counselors/Sales team with detailed notes. 6. Maintain and update CRM (Hubspot) with call outcomes and lead journeys. 7. Ensure leads are nurtured via follow-up calls, messages, and reminders until conversion or dropout. 8. Collaborate with marketing and sales to optimize lead flows and improve qualification logic. What We’re Looking For: 1. 1–2 years of experience in inside sales / telecalling / pre-sales in EdTech, Study Abroad, or Higher Ed services. 2. Strong verbal communication skills. 3. Comfort with high-volume calling and speaking to parents/students regularly. 4. Basic understanding of study abroad process or willingness to learn fast. 5.
